Women's Economic Ventures

Women's Economic Ventures (WEV, pronounced "weave") is a local, non-profit organization dedicated to creating an equitable and just society through the economic empowerment of women. 

WEV supports women throughout the business lifecycle from start-up to exit strategy through basic and advanced business training, business counseling and mentoring, coaching, and loans of up to $50,000 to pre-bankable businesses.

WEV works:  More than 1,000 businesses have started or expanded with WEV’s help.  On average, WEV clients increase family income by 49% within two years of completing our core self-employment program.  All services are open to women and men, and offered in English and Spanish.
