Please join me in giving to Women's Economic Ventures. It is an organization that is near and dear to my heart. As many of you know, I became involved with WEV because of my mother's story. My mother, who is my role-model and life long cheerleader, is an entrepreneur. After being a stay at home mom for over 20 years, she found herself a divorced single parent struggling to raise me and my three sisters. She became an entrepreneur out of necessity to keep us all fed. If she only had the benefit of WEV's programs and services, she wouldn't have struggled nearly as much. I just know WEV would have made all the difference.  

My goal is to raise $7,500 which will provide scholarship support for women to attend the self employment training program.
