I learned about Women's Economic Ventures from a newspaper advertisemet that a friend had cut out for me.  I had been wanting to expand my business, but had given up hope of ever being able to do this.  I attended Orientation and learned that I would be able to receive a scholarship so I could attend WEV's Self-Employment Training.  The education I received was excellent!  It was amazing to attend class with so many interesting and talented women entrepreneurs.

My business began to grow even before I finished class!  WEV gave me my hope for a better future.  I graduated with honors in the Spring Class 2009 which gave me confidence in myself, and the tools to succeed in business.
