500 Jobs Challenge

500 Jobs Challenge Year End Appeal

Dear Friend of WEV,

Lots of people are wringing their hands over the dismal jobs situation. At WEV, we're rolling up our sleeves.

Over 80% of net new jobs are created by very small businesses. That's why we're working harder than ever to ensure that small business owners like Maria get the training and capital they need to succeed and create jobs.

Over the next year, WEV will help 800 local entrepreneurs in Santa Barbara, Ventura and Kern Counties who are considering, launching or expanding a small business. Those entrepreneurs will create and retain 500 local jobs.

Instead of wringing your hands, I hope you'll reach deep into your pocket to help local businesses not only survive, but thrive.

Your gift to WEV creates opportunity, security and hope through the dignity of work. Please give generously.
